On a late Saturday evening, in the pouring rain, cutting wind and unpleasant cold, after what feels like forever, *6-week break, we finally made it to Cine Teatro Goya in Puerto Banus to see Fifty Shades Darker, the sequel to 2015 film Fifty Shades of Grey. Welcomed by a cheerful smile of a familiar staff member, we excitedly headed to our seats. After initial noise, coughing fits, latecomers and changing our seats to a more comfortable and quiet zone, we were ready to indulge in this erotic romantic drama.
Although 24 hour before, I had read that it received negative reviews from critics, with criticism aimed at its screenplay, acting and narrative, we put it aside hoping to have a great time watching it without any negative influence. And so we did.
